It's kind of funny how everything over here has a different name but has almost the exact logo as other stuff similar to whats in the US. For instance, Lays potato chips in the US are called Walkers here but they have the exact same logo. The difference is they have 100 more flavors and they are not normal ones you might think of from the US, like steak and onion, shrimp cocktail, worcestershire sauce, and the list goes on.

Yep, but a Coca-Cola is still a Coca-Cola world wide... or is it? What do you think about the unusual size cans and bottles?
ReplyDeleteWell the chips seem to only come in single serving multi packs. The sizes aren't that weird just measured in ml instead of oz. They don't have Mountain Dew here, and the Dr Pepper tastes different. I tried to find some pesto and that tasted completely different, I can't seem to find shredded parmesan cheese. B&Q is like Home Depot (they even have the same color scheme)
ReplyDeleteI got a 6 pack of chips the other day and the flavors were Fish & Chips, Crispy Duck & Hoisin, and Cajun Squirrel. The fish and chips one is very different it tastes almost like salt and vinegar but actually tastes a little like fish which is very different taste when eating "crisps" the other two aren't all that bad but no idea where or why they got the names unless they actually put squirrel flavoring in the ones...
